Historic bridge 4481 is located near the Quarry Hill Nature Center in Rochester, MN. It was originally built to connect the State Hospital with an adjoining farm. The first span was constructed in the mid 1920’s and then a second span introduced in the mid 1930’s. The bridge is currently part of the City of Rochester bike trail.
O.N.E. conducted a field inspection on the bridge in addition to analyzing laser scan data that was collected. From this rehabilitation plans were prepared and the bridge was successfully rehabilitated, painted and put back into service.
