Bridge History

The footbridge was originally built in 1921 for sight-seers to view the waterfalls in the State Park. The condition of the bridge deteriorated over the years and finally had a rehabilitation done in 2012.

The bridge is a contributing resource to a NRHP (National Register of Historic Places) Historic District.
